The Makery in Burlington, Vermont, is an art supply thrift store and community art space focused on sustainability and accessibility. Inspired by a childhood memory, it aims to reduce waste and make art supplies affordable, allowing people to explore creativity without financial barriers.
Arianna dreams of being a leader in sustainable crafting, The Makery envisions a world where creativity and environmental consciousness go hand in hand, fostering a vibrant community of crafters who inspire and support each other in their creative endeavors.
Together we crafted a visual identity toolkit she can use across digital and physical spaces, we constructed her primary and secondary logo using custom type and illustrations to portray the playful, approachable direction we chose. The rounded and imperfect letters provide a flow that leads the viewer through the logo as well as personal illustrations help give customers a sense of what to expect
Now Arianna is working on opening her store. With a professional logo suite, colors, fonts, icons, patterns and illustrations all DONE for her and in easy to use folders, she can quickly and effortlessly use her visual identity to decorate her new store, set up social media profiles, a website and packaging without having to fumble around in design programs she doesn't care about or know how to use.
